CaseTrust for Accreditation
Designed specifically by Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE), the CaseTrust for Education scheme aims to enhance the confidence of international students and their families in the quality of education in Singapore.
The regulatory framework focuses on building trustworthiness, professionalism, as well as business and academic excellence. A Private Education Organisation (PEO) that obtains CaseTrust for Education is certified that the organization has adopted the good practices for student protection and welfare practices. The good practices that PEOs need to put in place under CaseTrust includes:
- Transparent Fee Policies
All fees to be clearly articulated and documented and to be fully disclosed to the student and adhered to according to the terms and conditions of the contract between the PEO and the student.
- Well-Defined Student Redress, Refund Practices and Systems
A clear and well defined dispute resolution mechanism to be adopted for the student and the PEO.
- Qualified Staffs and Lecturers
